For those of you who know me, I don’t have to remind you that this is my favorite time of year! The weather changes, my wardrobe turns into boots, leggings and scarfs, tons of family time for Christmas and then a huge celebration to kick off the New Year!
But how can I think of December without mentioning the real reason I love this time of year? It’s my birthday month! Every year I do something big for my birthday from dinners to San Francisco trips and I always get a new dress to celebrate the occasion.
This year I had my heart set on a hot little number from Bebe, but of course it’s sold out. Now I am on the hunt for a dress just as amazing to replace it. I found options but need your help. Here we go…
From EXPRESS: Sequins are totally in and what better way to say, “It’s my birthday” then to literally shine! According to the reviews, it’s longer than on the model so I’d hem it into a mini and maybe add a sweetheart top instead of straight across.
From BCBG: I love this dress! It’s wild and the colors definitely make it stand out, which is very important on your birthday. Of course I’d hem it and make it into a mini so it would look–hot, hot, hot! The upside to this dress would be I could wear a normal bra (thank God!) The girls would look great!
From EXPRESS: How can you go wrong with a one-shoulder gold dress? Love this and very sophisticated–great for a 24th birthday!
