In relationships if you say you’re going to do something, follow through. Say whatever you need to say at the moment because censoring will only lead to missed opportunities. And most importantly, don’t lie to the person you share your heart with — because even the tiniest lie can cause major damage when exposed.
We all get to the point in a relationship when the facade is over. The real you will come out so it’s better to be honest and direct from the beginning. Sometimes the romance flickers out. Decisions on big things like buying a house and little things like doing laundry get in the way at times. To add, a 40+ hour work week doesn’t help the romance when you are tired and irritated.
What keeps your relationship going is that trust and security. But when you give us a reason to question the qualities we expect from you, it makes us question our relationship all together — and we question you.
When you don’t follow through or get caught up in a “little white lie,” we take note. And soon our tallies of your behavior make us think less of you as a person.
A girl can only take so much before she packs up and leaves your ass. So stay truthful, stay faithful and remember the big picture — because you will start resenting yourself too when she walks out.
