In the words of rappers everywhere — “Haters gonna hate.”
But those words don’t just apply in the rap world, it can be applied to your love life as well. No matter what you’re going through, someone will enjoy it or feel the need to put their two-sense in.
A breakup? There’s a hater taking pleasure in your misery. Whether it’s a good friend who is glad they are no longer your free-of-charge therapist or an ex-boyfriend who gets joy out of your broken heart. You can bet someone is doing cartwheels over your downfall.
That also goes for a new relationship.
Someone will be jealous and talk shit about your new lover behind your back. Don’t be surprised if it’s a good friend either — they get upset when someone comes in your life and pulls you away. Ex-lovers might talk smack to hide the pain of you moving on. And if you have enemies, watch out because they are real haters and will pick apart your new partner like it’s no ones business. If you’re dating a Ryan Gosling look-a-like? They will pick you apart because in their eyes, you don’t deserve someone so hot.
So, the point of this article– you will never have everyone’s approval. There will always be haters. Whether they are jealous, hurt, bitchy or take joy in your sorrow, someone will talk shit behind your back. But when they do, take pleasure knowing they aren’t happy in their life and they pick apart yours to feel better about themselves.
Getitwhit’s advice — date who you want in life and express your happiness at all times. It doesn’t have to be plastered all over every social media site, but if it is, who gives a shit? I won’t judge and neither will your true friends.
If you come across someone who you thought had your best interest at heart and you find out they don’t, ditch them because they are haters. And life is too short to waste on people so idiotic.
